Venita S. Welcome is the President and Clinical Director of Christian Wellness Center of NJ (CWCNJ). Her dream was to provide a safe confidential place for Christians that would facilitate healing from life challenges.
Christian Wellness Center of NJ was established in 2003, as a non-denominational counseling center. CWCNJ is not affiliated with any specific church or faith-based organizations. As CWCNJ continued to grow additional services were added that promoted emotional and spiritual healing.
Ms. Welcome's education includes a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University. She is actively pursuing a PhD specializing in health and behavioral medicine. She is a member of American Association of Christian Counselors.
Our staff represents a variety of disciplines including psychology, social work, and pastoral counseling.
Our staff has experience in the fields of individual, marital, family and group therapy, domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, and foster care/adoption.
All therapists are certified and/or licensed in their appropriate fields. Our office staff will assist you in scheduling appointments and answering your questions.
