Current Book Reading for November The Last Arrow by Erwin Raphael McManus
We begin reading the book the first week of the month, and discuss the book the last Thursday of the month. If you are a reader, please come to our book club get-togethers at 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month, book in hand and questions at the ready. We look forward to seeing you and being part of the discussion of seeing God in the midst of the story. Cost is Free!
Open to any student in grades 9th – 12th designed to help teens deal with some of the common challenges of this stressful stage of life. Through a series of mindfulness exercises, journaling and self-inquiry teens learn to manage stress, improve attention and respond to their thoughts, emotions and actions with more skill. Meets weekly on Tuesdays, begin September 19th at 5:45 p.m.
Open to young adult’s ages 18 to 25 post high school mindful living was designed to help young adults deal with some of the common challenges faced as they transition to adulthood. Through a series of mindfulness exercises, journaling and self-inquiry young adults will learn to manage stress, improve attention and respond to their thoughts, emotions and actions with more skill. Meets bi-weekly on Thursdays, September 14th at 4:30 p.m.
Open to any parent looking to master themselves in order to lead their children by example to be of good character, self-confident, motivated, children who accept responsibility for their actions and are capable of navigating the world. We will accomplish this work via journaling, self-inquiry, and meditation.
Meets 1st Thursday of each month 4 sessions starts Thursday 9/21/17 @ 5:30 pm

Unashamed : Drop the Baggage and Pick up Freedom
Shame has no place in the purpose, plan, and destiny God has for us because shame lies to us, robs us of the freedom we long for, and shackles us in the prison of our past. Group therapy provides a safe environment to explore ways to develop resistance, freedom and receive encouragement.
Wednesdays, 7 weeks - September 27th, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

G.E.M.S. Women's Group
G.E.M.S is here to empower women to find their worth and value while overcoming obstacles and adversities. It is the mission of G.E.M.S for every woman gathering in our group sessions to realize the importance of their purpose. To know that they are not alone in their hardship and can freely talk about it while enduring the pressures that life sometimes brings. Having the freedom to acknowledge pain and emotions within an uninterrupted, judgement free zone; it is the goal of the G.E.M.S. for women to freely express themselves and experience God’s sovereignty and grace. Meets bi-weekly on Mondays, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Topic: Virtual Christian Chronic Illness Support Group. Topic: self-compassion webinar
We will discuss management strategies on living with chronic conditions. This is like going to a support group from the comfort of your own home. We will come together to find ways in building resilience, offering encouragement and navigating through our faith. Each presentation varies in length from 15-30 minutes and includes time for questions and discussions. Immediately following we will have time to share.
Tuesdays: 3rd Tuesdays of each month , 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starts September 19, 2017.
